Dorothy M. “Dot” Marshall, 84, of Wake Forest, NC, formerly of Fombell, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, April 3 2016 at her son’s home in Wake Forest. She was born in Rochester, PA on June 7, 1931, the seventh of nine children of the late Albert  R. and Rilla Pickens Johnson.  Dorothy was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School in the class of 1950.  She married her husband of 65 years, Mervin D. Warren Austin Michaels, 91, of Marion Township, Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, March 27, 2016 in Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle following a brief illness. He was born in Ellwood City on July 6, 1924 to the late Lewis Michaels and the late Cora Miller Michaels. He graduated from Lincoln High School in the class of 1943 and served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He married his wife of over 65 years, Veda Mae Snyder Michaels, on Dec. 8, 1950, who survives. Chauncey Jack Forbush, 93, of Shenango Township, went to be with the Lord on Palm Sunday morning, March 20, 2016 following a brief illness. He was born on Clover Avenue in Ellwood City on Sept. 30, 1922 to the late Arthur Norman Forbush and the late Mary C. She was born on the family farm in North Sewickley on Sept. 1, 1921 to the late Samuel O. Swick and the late Edna Boswell Swick.
