Happy Days Musical Coming To Riverside

The Riverside Beaver County School District proudly presents its 2021 musical comedy – “HAPPY DAYS – The Musical” The Riverside High School Theater will present the hilarious musical, HAPPY DAYS – The Musical for four days beginning on Thursday, April 29th through Sunday, May 2nd in the high school auditorium. LHS Class of ’57 Announces Second Scholarship Opportunity

A second scholarship, worth $2,000, will be offered this year, in addition to the $5,000 scholarship and $500 essay award given by the 1957 Lincoln High School graduating class. The $2,000 award is designated for a 2021 Lincoln High School graduate who will continue his or her education for two years or less at a trade school, community college, nursing or cosmetology program or similar school. The $5,000 scholarship, started in 2009, goes to a student enrolling at a four-year college. Ellwood City Man Dies In 2-Vehicle Crash In West Deer Township

An Ellwood City man died in a two-vehicle crash in West Deer on Monday morning. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man on Tuesday as Mark Tedrow, 35. The crash happened shortly after 10 a.m. in the 300 block of Deer Creek Valley Road. According to West Deer police Chief Jon Lape, Tedrow was driving a box truck south on Deer Creek Valley Road when just south of Tarentum-Culmerville Road he veered off the road for about 50 feet. Area School Districts Slated To Receive Nearly $40 Million To Keep Students Learning During Pandemic

Ellwood City and Riverside School Districts are among the area school districts expected to receive approximately $37.2 million in federal funding to ensure programs, services and safety measures are in place as more students return to the classroom announced by Governor Tom Wolf this week. The Ellwood City Area Historical Society would like to recognize the best athletes, past and present, who were born in Ellwood City area or who went to Lincoln or Riverside High Schools with a sports banquet later this year. COVID-19 Vaccine To Be Made Available In Ellwood City

Mayor Anthony J. Court, Lawrence County Commissioner Lorretta Spielvogel and the Ellwood City Emergency Management Agency have secured 200 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine. The vaccine will be distributed Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Location will be at the Crescent Place Nursing Home, located at 630 Crescent Avenue in Ellwood City. Two LHS Students Recognized For LCCTC Pride & Promise Award

Two Lincoln High School students were among four dedicated senior Cosmetology students who received the Lawrence County Career & Technical Center (LCCTC) March 2021 Pride & Promise Award Each student was recognized at the JOC Board meeting last week for achieving 1,250 hours during their three years of study at LCCTC.
