For the sixth consecutive season, the Wolverine softball team won a first round playoff game. Vision Ministries Hosts Fourth Annual Braveheart Testimonial Dinner

Vision Ministries will be hosting the fourth annual Braveheart Testimonial Dinner on May 23rd. The dinner will take place at the New Englander Banquet Center. Doors will open up at 5:00 p.m. and dinner will begin at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $35.00 per person. This dinner shines light and recognition on the people who have battled the disease of addiction and have won. Bernstine Introduces Constitutional Carry Legislation

HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence) today introduced “constitutional carry” legislation, which would no longer require law-abiding citizens to obtain a government-issued license to carry a concealed firearm in Pennsylvania. Constitutional carry, or permitless carry, allows an individual over 21 years of age who has passed a criminal background check upon purchase of a firearm to legally carry a handgun concealed without first having to obtain government permission. Current law does not require citizens to obtain a license to openly carry a firearm in Pennsylvania. Last week, the Wolverines traveled to South Park and cruised to a 12-3 victory, but on Wednesday evening, the Eagles turned the tables and cruised to a 9-2 win on Ellwood City Senior Night. The Panthers set WPIAL history Wednesday becoming the first Class 2A track team to win four consecutive titles. The championship also makes Riverside the only Class 2A track team to win 7 WPIAL Championships.
