The Borough of Ellwood City is ready to launch its 2026 Playground Program and is working hard to make sure its another fun summer at Ewing Park!
“This program is important to the children of Ellwood City, as it provides a safe, supervised program, complete with a meal and snack,” says Borough Manager Jeff Foley. “The program hosts a variety of different educational guests throughout the summer, including Search and Rescue squads, the Fire Department, Police Department and Sheriff’s Department.”
The counselors have been hired and will be CPR/First Aid certified. Your kids will be in good hands.
Please note that children must reside in Ellwood City Borough to register. Proof of borough residency must be presented at registration. No early registration forms will be accepted.
You may print the form below or pick up a form beside the Utility Billing window in the lobby of the Borough building if you wish to have your forms filled out when you come to registration.
Registration will be held at Ewing Park Shelter #5 on Friday, June 5th and Monday, June 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Please do not attempt to turn in your registration at the Utility Billing window, as it will not be accepted.
The borough will be allowing 120 children to register for the playground program. Please do not register your child if they do not intend to come to the program as this takes a spot for a child that would like to attend.
Children between the ages of 5-10 years of age are eligible to attend.
“We are looking forward to another fun summer,” adds Jeff Foley.
Parent/guardian must be a resident of Ellwood City Borough. Proof must be provided at registration.
The YMCA will be present on Friday, June 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., selling pool passes.
