The Borough of Ellwood City is ready to launch its 2026 Playground Program and is working hard to make sure its another fun summer at Ewing Park! “This program is important to the children of Ellwood City, as it provides a safe, supervised program, complete with a meal and snack,” says Borough Manager Jeff Foley. “The program hosts a variety of different educational guests throughout the summer, including Search and Rescue squads, the Fire Department, Police Department and Sheriff’s Department.” The counselors have been hired and will be CPR/First Aid certified. Registration will be open for the 2025 Ellwood City Summer Playground Program Registration will be held at Ewing Park, Shelter #5 on Thursday, June 5th and Friday, June 6th from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Please bring the following information to registration: Proof of Borough residency (EC Borough electric bill or Borough Tax statement) Driver’s license or state ID and phone number of parent/guardian responsible for child Driver’s license number, and phone number of two additional people that will be allowed to pick your child up from the program.
