With the annual Ellwood City Easter Egg Hunt event scheduled on Saturday, the Ellwood City Kitchen Cabinet is planning and organizing a clean up at the Kids Created Kingdom in Ewing Park on Tuesday, April 5th.
According to its social media page, the non-profit plans to rake up the leaves inside and along the fence outside of the large kids playground feature. The clean up is planned for 6:00 p.m.
Two years ago the clean up was done within two hours because of extra volunteer help.
The Kitchen Cabinet is asking for volunteers again this year. Those interested can bring a rake and/or a leaf blower to help.
According to its Facebook.com Page, it is the mission of the Kitchen Cabinet group to lend assistance, ideas, time and talents, with no political agenda intent, to improve the quality of life in Ellwood City and the surrounding area.
