Kids Created Kingdom 20th Anniversary Celebration

Twenty years ago, it took 5 days for an empty space in Ewing Park to become a 15,000 square foot playground. Within those 20 years, the playground has undergone many changes and become a cornerstone of Ewing Park.

Most recently and earlier this summer, the Kids Created Kingdom added a wheelchair accessible swing to the list of features in the playground for use.

In honor of the park, Earla Marshall said that the community is invited to the park from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m on Sunday, to reflect on the impact this playground has had on our community throughout these two decades it’s been standing.

“It’s just a time for anyone to come over and reflect,” Marshall said about the event. “No big celebration although the significance that it’s 20 years.”

However, for those who’d like to make their memories or their comment on the park public, you can do so on the Kitchen Cabinet’s Facebook page, or attend this weekends celebration.
