Summer concerts are back in Ellwood City!
The full Summer Concert Series in the Community Plaza will begin June 1st with the concert series schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, June 1 – Steel Mill Rising (5:30pm)
- Saturday, June 18 – The Wrangler Band (7:00pm)
- Saturday, June 25 – Hopewell Community Big Band (7:00pm)
- Wednesday, July 6 – Morgan Gruber (5:30pm)
- Saturday, July 16 – RMS Trio (7:00pm)
- Saturday, July 23 – Tony Barge and the Honky Tonk Heroes (7:00pm)
- Saturday, July 30 – Lawrence County Brass (7:00pm)
- Wednesday August 3 – The D-Tour Band (5:30pm)
- Saturday, August 13 – Allegheny Brass Band (7:00pm)
The Summer Concert Series is hosted by Ellwood City Community Enrichment Concert Committee. The Saturday concerts begin at 7:00pm. Remember to bring a chair.
The Wednesday concerts begin at 5:30pm and are a part of Wander Ellwood’s Open Street Nights. Bagpiper Bryan Crable will be wandering around town on July 6th.
The Concert Series is made possible by many volunteers and generous sponsorships. The performances are also sponsored by Richard & Marlene Painter, Lori Dunham & Connie MacDonald, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Performances have also been made possible by the Caroline Knox Memorial Fund and the May Emma Hoyt Foundation.
In addition to the Summer Concert Series, the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce and Ellwood City Revitalization will be sponsoring the entertainment during the September and October Wander Ellwood events.
The Leftovers will be performing on September 7th and Chad Goldbach on October 5th in the Community Plaza at 5:30pm
