The Summer Concerts are back in Ellwood City! Come enjoy the music of The Wrangler Band, Hopewell Community Big Band, RMS Trio, Tony Barge and The Honky Tonk Heroes, Lawrence County Brass, and The Allegheny Brass Band this summer. Ellwood City’s Summer Concert Series Cancelled

In a social media post Wednesday afternoon the Ellwood City Community Enrichment (ECCE) announced the cancellation of the 2020 Summer Concert Series. The statement reads: Our top priority is to keep our musicians, community and volunteers healthy and safe during this usual time. Therefore, the concert series committee has made a tough decision to cancel the 2020 Summer Concert Series due to COVID-19. Any donations received this year will help fund the 2021 concert seires. The 2nd Avenue Project Performs at The Final Community Concert Season Event

The Ellwood City Community Stage closed its concert season this Saturday with The 2nd Avenue Project. The 2nd  Avenue Project is a horn band known for playing funk, rock and soul from Ohio and western Pennsylvania. The group played a variety of music Saturday night including songs like “Saturday in the Park” and “Make Me Smile” by Chicago. The group plays more than 45 concerts a year with the summer being its busiest time. Thirteen years ago the group was formed, mainly with musicians who played with the Vocal Group Hall of Fame that was founded by Tony Butala. Below you…
