The 2nd Avenue Project Performs at The Final Community Concert Season Event

The Ellwood City Community Stage closed its concert season this Saturday with The 2nd Avenue Project.

The 2nd  Avenue Project is a horn band known for playing funk, rock and soul from Ohio and western Pennsylvania. The group played a variety of music Saturday night including songs like “Saturday in the Park” and “Make Me Smile” by Chicago.

The group plays more than 45 concerts a year with the summer being its busiest time. Thirteen years ago the group was formed, mainly with musicians who played with the Vocal Group Hall of Fame that was founded by Tony Butala.
