Sip, savor, and support ECR at their Annual Winter Wine and Brew Fest event on January 27th, 2024! Ellwood City Revitalization (ECR) is a non-profit organization that has dedicated more than $35,000 to improvement projects in downtown Ellwood City in the past 6 years. Featuring a diverse array of local winemakers and homebrewers, food from Mary Jo’s Catering, and Music by DJ Franco’s Karaoke and DJ Services, their annual Winter Wine and Brew Fest promises a fun and unique tasting experience. The annual Ellwood City Memorial Day Parade took place Monday morning as our community gathered downtown Ellwood City to enjoy the parade and to honor local Veterans of the past and present. The Annual Ellwood City Easter Egg Hunt returned to the grounds of Ewing Park on Saturday, this year under new guidance. The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2023 Easter Egg Hunt event after the prior committee retired and turned the event over to the new guidance. The free community event was most hippity-hoppity and featured pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, and of course – egg hunting!  The event handed out over 15,000 eggs! Annual Ellwood City Easter Egg Hunt Returns, Under New Guidance

The Ellwood Area Egg Hunt Committee is announcing their retirement. With their 27th Annual, and final, Community Easter Egghunt completed last year, the committee has retired and has turned the event over to new guidance. The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce will now be hosting the community Easter Egg Hunt event. This year’s event will take place Saturday, April 8th as their 1st Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt. A series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off the first weekend of December. Friday evening, Ellwood City held its “Let There Be Lights” downtown extravaganza that featured street vendors, live performances, and the lighting of the large holiday tree in the community plaza. On Saturday, Lawrence Avenue was greeted with floats, groups and trucks as part of the annual Christmas Parade. ‘Let There Be Lights’ Weekend Of Events Start Friday

Kick off your Holiday’s with a series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce. First, on Friday, downtown will light up with the lighting of the holiday tree in the Ellwood City Community plaza at 7:30 p.m. as part of Ellwood City’s Light Up Night.
