Mayor Anthony J. Court recently presented a proclamation to the 2024 Ellwood City Wolverines Football Team for one of the most successful seasons in the history of the school
The team finished with a remarkable 10-1 record in 2024, finishing the regular season undefeated and securing the MAC Section Title.
In addition to their regular season success, the Wolverines made a deep run in the 2A W.P.I.A.L. playoffs advancing to the semifinals but ultimately losing to South Park.
Mayor Court congratulated the team on their outstanding season and proclaimed Wednesday, December 18, 2024 “Ellwood City Wolverines Football” day in the Borough of Ellwood City.
“I know I speak for our entire community, of how proud and grateful we are of this football team and coaching staff for all you have accomplished in 2024,” said Mayor Court in a statement.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Mayor Anthony J. Court, along with the Borough of Ellwood City do hereby express our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the Ellwood City Wolverines Football Team. Their achievements were a testament to their hard work and dedication to teamwork.
