Mayor Court Warns Against Excessive Speeding

Mayor Anthony J. Court has issued a statement regarding excessive amount of speeding throughout the Ellwood City Borough.

According to the mayor’s office, Court has made Ellwood City Police Department officers aware of the situation and has noted that the speeding will not be tolerated.

“This excessive speeding has led to law enforcement to crack down against speeding,” says Court. “The message is quite clear to please slow down!”

According to the information made available by the mayor’s office, speed traps will be conducted in the very near future.

Mayor Court encourages the public to follow the speed limits and drive carefully.

    How many miles per hour over the limit is considered excessive?

  2. I’m sure the police will sit on main roads, nowhere near neighborhoods,as usual. Assuming this is actually enforced at all. Great job there, mayor. Please hire more cops to do nothing.
