Officer Howard Sworn In To The Ellwood City Police Department

Mayor Anthony J. Court swore in Officer Joseph Howard into the Ellwood City Police Department this week.

The new officer was sworn in at Mayor Court’s office on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

Officer Howard is a part-time officer with the department.  A motion to approve his employment was passed the Ellwood City Borough Council during its November council meeting.

Mayor Court proudly welcomed Officer Howard to the police force and noted that he is looking forward to working with him.

The Ellwood City Police Department now has 11 full-time officers and 3 part-time officers in the department.
