Governor Wolf Announces Restaurants May Increase Indoor Occupancy Starting September 21

Governor Tom Wolf today announced this week that restaurants may increase indoor occupancy to 50 percent starting September 21. Online Sessions Thru November To Benefit BC3, Guest Students

(Butler, PA) Three additional start dates through November will provide Butler County Community College students the opportunity to add credits in as few as five weeks through fully online classes, a BC3 administrator said, and guest students a chance to save at least $230 for a three-credit course. POLICE REPORTS: Criminal Complaints & Reports

Harrasment: A 24-year-old female was a reported victim of physical harassment according to a PA State Police report. On Sunday, September 6th at approximately 1:00 a.m., police responded to Panella Way, in Wayne Township to find the victim who related the actor pushed/shoved and held her down. The victim related that she believed the actor was still at her residence and that she had removed herself from the scene. Upon canvassing the area the actor was determined to not be present. Yellow Ribbon Girls Looking For Christmas Campaign Support

The Yellow Ribbon Girls is looking for your support to provide Christmas treasures and supplies to deployed troops this upcoming holiday season. The campaign, named “Please Help Save Christmas For Our Deployed Troops!”, aims to ship between 150 and 200 Christmas packages full of decorations, holiday treats, basic supplies and gifts. The postage on last year’s 300 X-Large Christmas care packages was $14,000.00.  Sadly, in 2020 almost all of the fundraising opportunities have been postponed or canceled. POLICE: Motorcycle Accident On Wampum Road

According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, a one vehicle accident on Wampum Road led to a DUI arrest late Tuesday evening. The crash occurred on State Route 288 west of its intersection with Jockey Moore Road in Wayne Township at approximately 11:45 p.m. A 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Michael Wyant, 52, of New Castle, was traveling east on SR-288 and failed to negotiate a straightaway, exiting the north berm of the roadway, striking two traffic signs and an embankment, coming to a final rest on the side of the motorcycle.
