Lois A. Stephenson Kosior, 86, of New Wilmington (formerly of Wampum) passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital following a short illness. Born July 5, 1937 in Ellwood City, she was the youngest child born to the late Charles B. and Mary Bartle Snyder. A graduate of Wampum High School, Lois worked in the Dairy Department at Kroger’s in various locations in the area and then Food Service at Westminster College. Rudolph “Rudy” Valentino, 95, of Neshannock (formerly of Chewton) passed away Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Jameson Care Center. Born May 13, 1928 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Domenica DeMichele Valentino. Rudy worked as a Union Bricklayer for Massa Brothers and had retired from Medusa Cement in Wampum after 24 years of service. A Veteran of the US Army, he served during WWII.
