Patricia Courson, 87, of Ellwood City passed away from natural causes on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at her son’s residence in New Wilmington.
Born October 29, 1936 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Catherine Hickman Majors. She was married to Clair Wayne Courson when he passed away on November 11, 2015.
Patricia was a graduate of Lincoln High School. A devoted homemaker, Patricia’s greatest joy was raising her children and taking care of the home. She enjoyed fishing and spent time working for Dr. Kinny and at Loccisano’s.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy (Mark) Smith of Frederick, MD and Carol Courson of Frisco; two sons, Richard (Heidi) Courson with whom she resided of New Wilmington, and David (Bonnie) Courson of Shenango; and numerous loving grand and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sheryl and her brother Bud Majors.
Private Funeral Services for the family will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Interment will follow in Wurtumberg Cemetery.
