Rudolph “Rudy” Valentino, 95

Rudolph “Rudy” Valentino, 95, of Neshannock (formerly of Chewton) passed away Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Jameson Care Center.

Born May 13, 1928 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Domenica DeMichele Valentino.

Rudy worked as a Union Bricklayer for Massa Brothers and had retired from Medusa Cement in Wampum after 24 years of service. A Veteran of the US Army, he served during WWII. Rudy enjoyed traveling, riding around in his Cadillac, and smoking his pipe.

Survivors include two sons, Rudy (Linda) and Gary (Kelley) Valentino both of Wampum; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.

The last of his family, he was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife Betty Houk in 1983; three sisters, Vicki Birtalan, Antionette Mazzocio, and Lilly Martin; one brother Sam Valentino, and his grandson Joseph Valentino in 2011.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024 from 12:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Pastor Dave Keppen will officiate.

Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.
