BURGLARY: On March 3rd at approximately 5:10 p.m., the PA State Police Beaver Station was dispatched to a business in Georgetown Borough, Beaver County for a report of a burglary. According to the police report, and at some time between 6:00 p.m and 4:45 a.m., unknown actor(s) forcibly entered the property of Georgetown Sand and Gravel, damaged the security system, the surveillance cameras and stole approximately $1,000 in cash. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On February 26th at approximately 1:17 a.m., PA State Police investigated a report of criminal mischief near a residence on Heinz Camp Road, Wayne Township. According to the report, a 31-year-old female victim from Ellwood City related that she was contacted by a female friend requesting a ride home due to an ongoing argument with her boyfriend. When the victim arrived on scene, the vehicle she was operating was punched by Brandon Holsinger, 25, of Ellwood City, causing a large dent to the front passenger door of a 2012 Mazda. AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Franklin Cesare-Hesse, 33, of Ellwood City, is charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Harassment after an incident on February 20th. According to the criminal complain, and at approximately 4:24 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence on Portersville Road, Perry Township, for a report of an individual who had been shot with a pellet gun. Police learned Cesare-Hesse shot someone over an argument and left the scene. TERRORISTIC THREATS: John Humensky, 52, of Ellwood City is charged with Terroristic Threats and Robbery after threatening to rob Ellwood City WesBanco Bank on February 9th forcing the branch to go on brief lockdown. According to the criminal complaint, and at approximately 9:45 a.m., a bank teller called police to report Humensky had walked into the bank and told her that he was thinking of robbing the bank. THEFT BY DECEPTION: On January 31st at approximately 3:17 p.m., PA State Police investigated a report of fraudulent bank activity. The 63-year-old female victim lives in Wayne Township, Lawrence County and claims that two bank transactions totaling $6,000.00 were made on her bank account with her permission. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Jason Mulig, 47, of Ellwood City is charged with Criminal Mischief and Public Drunkeness after an incident on November 6, 2022. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 3:27 p.m., police officers were dispatched to the area of First Street, near Keystone Bar, due to Mulig jumping onto a victim’s car and damaging the hood. Upon reviewing surveillance, it showed Mulig walking from across Fountain Avenue and jumping onto the hood of the vehicle causing $2,388.13 in damage and then finished what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage and threw it into the side of the building….

THEFT OF SERVICES: On December 29, 2022 at approximately 12:06 p.m., PA State Police investigated a reported theft of services at Harmony Hardscape & Landscape, located on Route 422, Slippery Rock Township. The victim related that on September 12, 2022, a check, which had been supplied by their customer, in the amount of $3,865.78 had been denied by Wesbanco as having insufficient funds. The victim related that a single payment was made on 11/11/22, but that the victim has been unsuccessful in establishing contact with the customer since the date. An investigation is ongoing. THEFT ALL OTHER: On December 5th, at approximately 11:51 a.m., PA State Police responded to a reported theft of a real estate sign. This occured near the intersection of 16th Street and W. Lawrence Ave., Wayne Township. This theft occurred approximately between 10/31 and 11/14 according to the report. The real estate sign is an Advantage Homes Real Estate sign that is predominately blue in color with white lettering. The sign is valued at $350.00. The investigation is ongoing. INDECENT ASSAULT OF A MINOR: Micah Peffer, 31, of Ellwood City is charged with Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors, and Harrassment after an incident in October. According to a criminal complaint, and on October 13th, police were called to a residence on Loop Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival, Peffer and another man were in an altercation after the man received a call that his 12-year-old daughter was touched inappropriatelyl by Peffer.
