Animal Cruelty Investigation Case In Lawrence County

According to a Pennsylvania State Police Troop D Press Release, an animal cruelty investigation report was file in Washington Township, Lawrence County last week. According to the report, and on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at approximately 3:30 p.m., PA State Police assisted Lawrence County Humane Officer and responded to 535 Rabbit Haven Lane, just northeast of New Castle, in reference to an Animal cruelty complaint. $1 Million Grant Will Fund New Training Center For Electrical Trade In Lawrence County

NEW CASTLE – A $1 million grant from the state Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program will fund a state-of-the-art electrical apprenticeship training center for Lawrence County, state Rep. Chris Sainato, D-Lawrence, announced today. According to a social media post by the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office, ‘Operation Naughty List’ has netted a large drug/weapon seizure in Lawrence County. Ellwood City 15u Softball Team Brings Home 2018 Lawrence County Championship

The team traveled to historic Dean Park in New Castle on Thursday evening to capture the championship hardware.  They started fast as they plated the first 10 runs of the game in the opening 3 innings to cruise home with an 11-5 victory over the Union Scotties. The Penn State Master Gardeners of Lawrence County are hosting their Third Annual Garden Tour on Sunday, July 22rd from Noon to 5:00 p.m. The tour highlights four area gardens, which can be toured at your own pace.
