Borough Notifies Residents Of No Late Fees, Shut-Offs On Recent Electric Billing

In a statement made available on the borough website and social media this week, the Borough of Ellwood City is notifying its residents there will be no shut offs this month and all late fees will be waived due to system issues. The Borough is aware that delinquent notices have been mailed with a shut off date included. Ellwood City Announces 2024 Clean Up Date

The Borough of Ellwood City has announced its annual fall clean up event scheduled next month. The Fall Clean Up event is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024 and will take place from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The drop off location is the parking lot at 1210 Factory Avenue in Ellwood City, just west of Adams Manufacturing Building #4 and prior to the Moose Lodge (same location as 2023). Ellwood City Announces 2024 Trick or Treat Night

Mayor Anthony J. Court and the Borough of Ellwood City has decided to change Trick or Treat night from previous years. Borough of Ellwood City Utility Office Updating Payment System

The Borough of Ellwood City utility office will be getting a new system starting July 31st, 2024, with an estimated end date of August 7th, 2024 according to information made available by the borough. During the transition only checks and money orders will be accepted. The office will still be open normal business hours during the transition. As always, the drop box outback will be available. Court in conjunction with Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County, members of UPMC Jamison, launched “Pinwheels for Prevention” this week. “This is a program for child abuse prevention and the pinwheels represents playfulness, joy and childhood and has come to serve as a physical reminder of a great childhood,” said Mayor Court in an e-mailed statement.
