Borough of Ellwood City Announces 2026 Food Drive

The Borough of Ellwood City has announced its 2026 Borough-wide food drive to benefit the Divine Grace Food Pantry. The food drive will run from October 5th to November 9th, 2026. If you are interested in hosting a box in your business, please email rschnell@ellwoodcityborough.com. If you would like to donate items for the food pantry, there will be a box for donations at the Utility Billing Window in the Municipal Building. Below is a list of the most requested items per the food bank. Thank you for supporting our friends and neighbors through the Holiday Season!

The Borough of Ellwood City has announced its Fall Clean Up event! Residents are invited to bring one car or pickup truck load of items to dispose. No trailers are allowed. The event will be held Saturday, October 10th and Saturday, October 17th from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. at 1210 Factory Avenue in Ellwood City, just west of Adams Manufacturing Building #4 and prior to the Moose Lodge. Borough of Ellwood City Announces 2026 Trick-or-Treat Date & Time

Mayor Anthony J. Court announced today that the Borough of Ellwood City Trick-or-Treat will be held on Saturday, October 31st , Halloween evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The day will also feature a Halloween Parade at 3:30 p.m., giving families and children an opportunity to show off their creative costumes before the trick-or-treating begins. “The safety of our children is a top priority,” said Court in a statement. “Parents are encouraged to accompany young trick-or-treaters, use reflective clothing or flashlights to increase visibility, and remind children to stay on sidewalks and cross streets carefully.” To help make Halloween…

Mayor Anthony J. Court along with the borough of Ellwood City has declared a state of emergency today January 26, 2026.
