Mr. Joseph D. Carinci, 80, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. Mr. Carinci was born in Ellwood City on July 29, 1941 to the late Lorenzo “Lawrence” and Fanny (Rose) Carinci. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1959. Following high school, Joseph enlisted with the U.S. Army and served from October of 1959 until his discharge in August of 1961 with the rank of Spec 4. (Butler, PA) Butler County Community College will temporarily require face coverings to be worn indoors at all BC3 locations because of an increase in community transmission levels of COVID-19 in the counties the college serves. BC3 Gets State Approval To Launch Practical Nursing Program

(Butler, PA) The Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing has authorized Butler County Community College to create a practical nursing program on BC3’s main campus, an approval that will enable the college to prepare students for the high-priority occupation in western Pennsylvania. The college in June 2020 announced its plan to establish the program as a result of an up to $10 million partnership with Concordia Lutheran Ministries, a Cabot-based health care provider. Darlene Joy Miller, 61 of Wayne Township passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 in the Emergency Room of the Heritage Valley Medical Center. Born in Pittsburgh on September 20, 1959, Darlene was the daughter of the late Donald and Marion Crehan Jabaut.  She is survived by her husband, Arthur A. Miller whom she married on July 30, 1988.
