Frederick E. Hogue, 86, of Wayne Township passed away peacefully Thursday, July 8th, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Oakland. He was born on July 4th, 1935 in Ellwood City, a son of the late Raymond Hogue and Mabel Hogue (Strouse) He married Carol L. Hogue on July 1, 1960. She died on July 9th, 2021. Born February 12, 1947 in San Juan, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Francisco Sr. and Dolores Cuba Zayas. He and Jan Dargis Zayas were married in Jamaica 16 years ago. PA State Police in New Castle responded to a motorcycle accident in Wayne Township on Sunday, June 6th on Wampum Road around 11:30 p.m. The officers responded to an accident in which a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle had struck a guardrail on the right side of the roadway on Wampum Road.
