Judy Louise Bollinger, 56, of Ellwood City passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital. Born October 24, 1966 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of John and Nancy Lample Bollinger. Judy had graduated from Lincoln High School in 1984. She was an animal lover, a Steelers fan, and enjoyed watching birds. She enjoyed time spent with her family. Judith (Hooker) Lemsky of Birmingham, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 18th 2023. The daughter of the late Harold W. Hooker and Mildred (Lewis) Hooker, Judie was born October 4th 1943 and raised in Ellwood City. A 1961 graduate of Lincoln High School, she moved to Birmingham in 1970. Living and working there she met her husband, they were married on September 2, 1972. Judie worked in commercial real estate development for many years before retiring in 2017. Robert Russell Berkebile, 83, of Koppel passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at PAM Health at Heritage Valley-Beaver following a brief illness. Born July 16, 1939 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Russell and Mildred Craig Berkebile. He married Jessie Swogger Berkebile on October 12, 1999. Robert had graduated from Lincoln High School in 1957. After graduation, he followed in his father’s footsteps and became a barber in Koppel. Matthew W. Cogley Sr., 88, of Franklin Township passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at his residence. Born June 12, 1934 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Leroy Ellwood and Louise Smith Cogley. He was married to Kathleen Gilligan Cogley. Matthew was a Veteran of the US Air Force. Mr. David James Mastropietro, 78, of Wayne Township passed away on Monday, January 16th, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Medical Center. Mr. Mastropietro was born in New Castle on May 29th, 1944 to the late James Joseph and Helen (Valentine) Mastropietro. Royann Winfield, 62, of Ellport passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at her residence following a 3 1/2 year courageous battle with cancer. Royann faced her battle with cancer with strength, courage, and a positive attitude that was an example to all. Mr. Maielli was born in New Castle on July 3rd, 1934 to the late Samuel and Caroline (DeThomas) Maielli. He had graduated from NECA High School in New Castle with the class of 1952. Suella Ida Volpe, 80, formerly of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 in North Carolina following a short illness. Born November 15, 1942 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Orville Cox and Lorraine Kildoo Jeffers. Suella graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960. She was part owner of The Kildoo Agency Insurance Company on Pittsburgh Circle until her retirement in 2010. Suella loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and traveling.
