Norma Jean Carothers of Florence Kentucky, (formerly of Ellwood City) passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary Jane Bathgate Tritt. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Carothers of 56 years, her son Eric Carothers, and brother Gilbert Tritt. Stanley Benham, 67, of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at his residence following a one-year illness. Born May 24, 1957, in Lake Placid, NY, he was the son of the late Stanley D Benham and Patricia DeLoria Benham. Stanley served as a volunteer EMS driver while living in Lake Placid. Locally, he worked at the Pottery Barn in Beaver Falls and provided transportation for the airport Marriott, the railroad, and children with special needs.
