Kimberly Sue Lordi, 51 of Evans Drive, Ellwood City passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. surrounded by her family. Born in Ellwood City on March 29, 1965, Kim was the daughter of the Harry James and Judith Lynn Johnston Guy of Ellwood City. Kim is also survived by her husband, Domenic “D. J.” Lordi whom she married on Sept. 30, 1989. Kim graduated from Lincoln High School in 1983 and received her associate’s degree in nursing from CCBC. Marie Pander, 91, formerly of Lundy Lane, Ellwood City passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice following an extended illness. Born August 8, 1924 in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Alphonso and Margaret DeRose D’Amore. Marie was married to George O. Pander who passed away November 9, 2006. Marie was a member of Holy Redeemer Church. She was active with the Women of the Moose and was an officer in the Gotta-Gittaway-Campers club. Alfred N. Sberna, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was born on Oct. 24, 1924 in Ellwood City to the late Virgilio and Lisena Foiani Sberna. Alfred is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1942. On June 21, 1943 he enlisted with the U.S. Army and served with the 75th Bomb Squadron until his discharge on March 12, 1946 with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
