Paul A. Maochi, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 in his residence. Paul was born on Jan. 24, 1922 in New Galilee to the late Peter and Angeline (Caroni) Maochi. Paul is a member of the Beaver Falls High School class of 1939. He enlisted with the U.S. Army on Jan. 28, 1943 and served with the Medical Corps in Northern Ireland, England and France until his discharge on Dec. 26, 1945 with the rank of Technical Sergeant. Bryan Paul Hague, 44, of Hanna St., New Castle passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital following a short courageous battle with cancer. Born July 29, 1971 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of Ralph and Judy Engle Hague of Chippewa. He was married to Melissa Argiro Hague who survives. Bryan graduated from Blackhawk High School in 1990. Dorothy A. “Dot” Moyer, 78, of Florence St., Ellwood City (Ellport) passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital following a brief illness. Born July 30, 1937 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Dorothy (Randazzo) Custozzo. She was married for 52 years to Frederick O. Moyer as they were married September 2, 1963. He survives. Dot graduated from Lincoln High School in 1955. She formerly worked at Loccisano’s and also as the receptionist for Dr. James McLaughlin. John Stambul, Jr., 92, of Elm Street, Bessemer, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in UPMC Jameson. Born in West Wooster, Ohio on June 11, 1923, John was the son of the late John and Mildred Jurich Stambul. John married the former Mary Frank and she preceded him in death in 1960. John retired from Metropolitan Brick in Darlington. A lifetime member of the Bessemer Croatian Club, he enjoyed playing bocce and gardening. John was a veteran of the US Army, serving in WWII. Jenna Claire Roth, 22, of Moore Haven, FL passed away at Palms West Hospital in Laxahatchee, Fla. on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 9:10 a.m. Born in York, Pa. on Dec. 27, 1993 Jenna was the daughter of Michael C. and Lisa M. Plansker Roth of Moore Haven, Fla. Jenna was a teachers aid for Hendry County School District Middle School and was a member of Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. Larry O. Fisher, 75, of Wampum died on Friday, June 3, 2016 at his residence following a brief illness. Born September 11, 1940 in Moundsville, WV, he was the son of the late Thomas Clinton and Flossie Virginia Hinnerman Fisher . He was married to Jackie Nativio Fisher on March 23, 2009. She survives. Larry worked and retired from both B&W and PennPower. He also formerly was employed at Sears, and currently worked at PTC Alliance in West Mayfield. George Robert “Bob”  Gilchrist, 92, of Venice Florida, formerly of Ellwood City, passed  away peacefully on  Thursday afternoon, June 2,  2016 at The Summit Assisted Living Center in Venice FL. He was born in Ellwood City on June 21 1923 to the late  Russell T. William D. Welsh, 84, of Shenango Rd. Big Beaver Boro passed away Thursday, June 2, at his residence. Born in Negley, Ohio on April 6, 1932 to the late David G. and Lenore M. Dyke Welsh. He was married to the former Patty J. Crees for 64 years, as they were married on December 29, 1951. She survives. Bill was an active member of the Pathway Church.
