Frank Huzinec, 90, of Northview Estates, Ellwood City passed away at the Oakland VA Hospital on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 7:56 a.m. Born in Canton, Ohio on May 3, 1926, Frank was the son of the late George and Betty Dzamka Huzinec. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, the former Janet Restid who died on May 26, 2015. They were married on June 9, 1956. Born October 26, 1917 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Frances Crum Gibson Sr. She was married for 59 years to Ray N. Barto who passed away November 1, 1999. Helen was a long time Crossing Guard for the Ellwood City Police Department. She was a member of Bell Memorial Presbyterian Church. Helen enjoyed traveling. Rosetta D. Cumo, 85, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in the Jameson Memorial Hospital. Rosetta was born on Dec. 19, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late Louis A. and Florence Regoli Rocco. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1948. Rosetta also graduated from the St. Francis School of Nursing in New Castle as a Registered Nurse, and from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Alfred M. Aniceti, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2016 in the Ellwood City Hospital Emergency Room. Alfred was born on July 22, 1924 in New Castle to the late Giovanni and Camille Peltier Aniceti. During his youth, Alfred joined the Civilian Conservation Corps, a New Deal program that allowed teenagers to work on public related projects. He then served with the American Merchant Marines from May 14, 1943 until his discharge on July 5, 1945. Doris Mae Jennings, 86, of Soap Run Rd., Fombell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Northview Estates. Born March 18, 1930 in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Agnew Drushel. She was married for 63 years to John “Jack” Jennings as they were married on November 22, 1952. Donald E. Brommer, 60, of Meadville, formerly of Wampum, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital as a result of injuries that he received in an automobile accident on April 13.
