Josephine Lucille Eonta, of Ellwood City, died July 27, 2016. She was 90. She was born in Ambridge, Pa., on Sept. 16, 1925, just after her twin sister, Mary, the youngest of seven, Gerardo, Laura, Antoniette, Alfonso, Frank, and Mary: to parents who’d not been in America long. She was educated by the nuns of St. Veronica School and carried their lessons and stories with her the rest of her life. Barbara J. Marshall, 68, of Wampum passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Born September 26, 1947 in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Harold F. and Leona G. Mottern Osche. She was married for 40 years to Robert S. Marshall who survives. Barb graduated from Butler High School where she was the head majorette. Carmen J. DeGennaro, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in his residence with his loving family at his side. Mr. DeGennaro was born on July 11, 1922 in Italy to the late Stefano and Assunta Napolitano DeGennaro. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1942 and the Holy Redeemer Parish. Carmen enlisted with the U.S. Army on January 8, 1943 and served with the Company M 14th Infantry Regiment 71st Division until his discharge on Oct. 31, 1945. Sandra J. Miller, 64, of Sewall Court, Ellwood City passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Evergreen Nursing Center following an extended illness. Born August 10, 1951 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Hobart and Thelma White Miller. She recently celebrated 39 years of marriage to Raymond C. Miller as they were married July 22, 1977. He survives. Sandy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969. She continued her education, graduating from Edinboro University in 1973. Born February 16, 1947 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Henry Arsene and Irene Burke LeRoy. He was married to Darla J. Rough LeRoy who survives. Henry was a truck driver for many years. Mrs. Corwin was born on April 15, 1947 to the late Thomas V. and Mary Pearl Charon Corcoran.
