Earl L. McElwain, 86 of Wurtemburg Rd., Wayne Township passed away at the residence of his step-daughter, Carol Lee Gardner in Millersburg, Ohio on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Born in Ellwood City on January 7, 1931, Earl was the son of the late Clarence and Otis Kelty McElwain. Earl was preceded in death by his wife, the former Evelyn Johnson McElwain, who passed away on December 11, 2013. They were married on July 31, 1964. Richard J. Bartholomew, 86, of North Beaver Twp. passed away Friday, April 7 2017 as a result of a house fire. Born January 28, 1931 in Burton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lisle H. and Helen Kotacka Bartholomew. He was married on November 4, 1955 to Kathleen J. Sheets Bartholomew who passed away December 7, 2016. They were married 61 years. Richard had previously worked at JB Mill and for Veon’s Mining Company.
