Mrs. Mary Babin, 96, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in the Jameson Care Center. Mrs. Babin was born on December 30, 1920 in Pittsburgh to the late Nicholas and Kensena Stec Batz. She had graduated from Oliver High School in Pittsburgh. Mary was a member of the St. John’s the Baptist Orthodox  Church in Ellwood City. For many years she volunteered at the Red Cross Blood Bank in Ellwood City. Mary was also a member of the Connoquenessing Country Club, and enjoyed swimming, golfing, and bowling. Mrs. Hetty M. Wogan, 74, of Beaver Falls passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in her residence. Mrs. Wogan was born on February 23, 1943 in Ellwood City to the late William and Blanche Rosemund Garroway. Misty B. McKim, 33, of Franklin Ave, New Castle passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born January 22, 1984 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Clair McKim and Lori Schoettker. Misty enjoyed skating and going to the movies. She also loved to shop and paint. Joan M. Brommer, 70, of Meadville (formerly of New Castle) passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio following an illness. Born December 29, 1946 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Jeanette Scott Porada. She was married on June 24, 1978 to Donald E. Brommer who passed away April 26, 2016. Nancy L. Latcheran, 67, of Graham Ave., West Pittsburg passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital following a brief  illness. Frank J. Annarumo, 66, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in the Ellwood City Hospital. Frank was born on October 26, 1950 in Ellwood City to the late James V. “Muskie” and Vera Jeannette Annarumo. Doyle Kent Butler, 67, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the VNA Hospice in Butler. Doyle was born on January 20, 1950 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Doyle E. and Doris Taylor Butler. He is a member of the Riverside High School class of 1968, and was certified as a diesel mechanic by the Diesel Mechanic School in New Castle.
