Elsie L. Macri, 80, of Mallory Rd., Wampum (North Beaver Twp.) passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice following a short illness. Born May 19, 1936 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Harvey G. and Pearl I. Kelly Yoho. She was married to Vincent A. “Sonny” Macri who passed away in 1986. Elsie was a longtime babysitter, with some families spanning the generations. She enjoyed time spent at the Clinton United Methodist Church. Her most cherished time was spent with her family. Eric Alfred Miles, born on July 15, 1948, a lifelong resident of Wampum, passed away on February 19, 2017 at the age of 68. Eric was a member of the Wampum United Methodist Church. He served on the Board of Trustees, including the offices of Secretary and Treasurer. He was a member of the Wampum Historical Society, Sons of the American Legion and the Ellwood City Library Book Club. Eric graduated from Lincoln High School. Mr. Richard L. Miles, Jr., 67, of Wampum passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in the Friendship Ridge Nursing Center. Mr. Miles was born on September 7, 1949 in Erie, Pa to the late Richard L. and Edith L. Steele Miles, Sr.. He had attended Riverside High School.  Richard enlisted with the U.S. Marines on February 2, 1967  and served until his discharge on December 17, 1970 . Dolores McCandless, 64, of Portersville Rd., Ellwood City passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 20, 2017 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital. Although she had been in ill health, death was unexpected. Born March 4, 1952 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Elsie A. Daniel V. “Boone” Nonnemacher Jr., 30, of Mt. Jackson, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his residence. Born August 20, 1986 in New Castle, Daniel was a beloved son, grandson, brother and friend. “Boone” graduated from Mohawk High School in 2004. He worked at the Tic Toc in Mt. Jackson.
