Mrs. Mary Grace Ierino, 90, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Edison Manor in New Castle. Mrs. Ierino was born on February 7, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late Domenico and Mary (Riccardi) Dominelli. She had attended Lincoln High School and is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. Mary had worked at Dustproof in Ellport for 25 years, and Fotia Bros. Drapery for 5 years both as a seamstress. She is a former member of the Wayne Twp. V.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary. Joan E. Markey, 83, of Rochester, formerly of Patterson Township passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Rochester Manor following a lengthy illness. Born January 25, 1937 in Massillon, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Edna (Schmidt) Young. She was married to the late James Ewing Markey who died January 24, 2012. Joan was a member of the First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Patterson Twp. She was also a member of the Christian Women’s Club of Beaver Valley. James G. Wright, 77, of North Sewickley Township passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born June 6, 1942 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Sharp B. and Frances “Birdy” (Knight) Wright. Jim was a co-owner of Wright’s Meat Packing in Fombell where he partnered with his brother since 1955. James was an avid coon hunter and loved to field trail his dogs. Carter J. Huzinec, 20, of Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital following complications of injuries sustained in an ATV accident. Carter was known for being the fun, playful, silly, kind hearted, helpful, hard working friend to all and was always able to put a smile on everyones face. Mrs. Gertrude E. Myers, 85, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Mrs. Myers was born on March 11, 1935 in Ellwood City to the late Edward and Emma (Burr) Hamilton. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1953.
