James L. Hoover, 93, of Austintown, Ohio, passed away at the Austin Wood Care Facility on April 14, 2021. James was born in Ellwood City on April 13, 1928, son to the late Leo and Lillian Kistner Hoover. After graduating from high school, James enlisted in the United States Navy and was discharged with honors. He married his first wife, Margaret King, in 1952, and after her passing, he married Shirleen Porter on May 29, 1971, who also preceded James in death. Mr. Douglas J. Carsele, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Carriage Manor Personal Care. Mr. Carsele was born on January 10, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late James and Esther (Barile) Carsele, Sr.. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. Justin N. Park, 21 of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Youngstown, OH from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born in New Castle, PA on September 16, 1999, Justin was the son of Matthew J. and Nicole R. Ronald G. Hogue, 77, of Chewton passed away on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 at his residence Ron was born on November 26th, 1943 in Ellwood City to the late McClelland and Laurine (Wolfe) Hogue. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Mr. John “Jack” Ferguson, 84, of Ellwood City passed away at the Jameson Care Center in New Castle on Tuesday April 6, 2021 following an extended illness. Born in Pittsburgh on November 5 1936, he was the son of the late John D. and May (Harrison) Ferguson of Mount Jackson. Jack graduated from Mount Jackson High School in 1954.
