Glenys Nicholas Haine, age 89, of Kissimmee, Florida, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Her parents immigrated to America from a small coal-mining village in Penrhiwceiber, South Wales. (1921)   They settled in the small town of Ellwood City in Western Pennsylvania. It was there that Glenys was born on June 21, 1930.  Glenys attended West End Elementary, Hartman Junior High and graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, in 1948.  She was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, and also a member of their church choir.  She always said one of her favorite memories,…

Born January 1, 1926 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Moran) Crespo . She was married to Joseph Olayer who died November 6, 1983 and then S. Jeffrey L. Evans, 64, of Ellwood City passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at St. John Health Care in Mars following a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 13, 1955 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late James D. and Betty Ruth (Main) Evans. Jeff was a graduate of Riverside High School, Class of 1973. Madison “Ken” Main,  61, of Ellwood City, passed away unexpectedly on  October 15, 2019.
