Patricia “Patty” James, 77

Patricia “Patty” James, 77, of Ellwood City, passed away in her residence on Monday, August 16, 2021.

Born in Conway, PA on May 20, 1944, Patty was the daughter of the late Stephen and Josephine Crapis Ecimovic.  Patty was a florist, working at Jean’s Flower Shop on Fourth Street until it closed and later at Heart’s Desire on Lawrence Avenue.  She enjoyed taking trips to the casino and watching HGTV, especially episodes of Property Brothers.  Most of all, Patty loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patty is survived by her children; Sherry Weber of Rodgers, OH, David James and Michelle James, both of Ellwood City, five grandchildren; Teagan Osborne, Matthew James-Osborne, Michael Weber, Christopher Weber and Gabriella James, three great-grandchildren; Emerson, J.J. and Harrison Weber, two sisters, Eleanor Dougherty of Chippewa, Debbie Sokolowski of Midland and two brothers, Stephen Ecimovic of Ambridge and Alan Ecimovic of Baden.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by a brother in infancy.

Friends will be received on Friday, August 20th from 2:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 5:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.

    Hello Sherry, David and Michelle. I am so sorry for your loss. You probably don’t remember me but My name is Chuck Schweinsberg. Your father and I were cousins. and your Mom and he would bring you out to our home in Portersville.

You may have been too young to remember coming to my home in Portersville. Your dad and I would trade buy and sell antiques. My love and sympathy to you
