Betty A. Campbell, 90, of New Castle, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, in Cabot, PA, following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late John T. and Marie F. (Dooley) Atchison and was born October 29, 1930, in Indianapolis, IN. William P. Skvarla Sr., 93, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at his residence. Born March 24, 1928 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Steve and Mary Pavuk Skvarla. Bill graduated from Lincoln High School in 1947, where he was a member of the gymnastic team, and enlisted in the Air Force, serving from 1948-1952. After his honorable discharge he was employed at the Ellwood Tube Mill, Massa Brothers Construction Company, and B&W in Beaver Falls until his retirement. James Edward “Jimmy” Cooper, 63, of New Galilee passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Heritage Valley Beaver after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 7, 1957 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Willis A. and Rosemary A. Murphey Cooper. He was married to Karen Casuccio Cooper. Jimmy was a machinist by trade for over 40 years. Kathy L. Braunbeck, 51, of Fombell passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 7, 2021 at Heritage Valley in Beaver. Born February 25, 1970 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Chester A. and Ethel L. Rape Black. She was also preceded in death by her husband Daniel Braunbeck who passed in October 2011. Kathy graduated from Riverside in 1988. She was a current member of the Concord United Methodist Church. She enjoyed all outdoor activities, particularly taking walks. Randy L. Gwilt, 65, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 7, 1956 in Battlecreek, Michigan. Randy retired from TMS International where he was a truck driver. He enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool. An outdoorsman, Randy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved his cats and cherished time spent with his family.
