Riverside Varsity Pitchers Fox and Cameron Shutout Victory Against Mohawk

Riverside Panthers Varsity defeated Mohawk Area 10-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Danny Fox induced a groundout from Brayden Cameron to finish off the game. Riverside put up five runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by Riverside was led by Fox, Drew Speicher, Ben Hughes  and Ty Thellman, all knocking in runs in the inning. Another day, another mercy rule shortened victory for the Lady Wolverines. This time, Ambridge was the victim of a 13-1 five inning win at Stiefel Park.   The offense was potent once again as eight different players pounded out 10 hits on the day. A walk-off single propelled Wolverines to a decisive, dramatic victory over Avonworth, 20-19 on Friday afternoon.
