Riverside Boy’s Swimming Team Off To PIAA State Championships
After earning WPIAL gold on Day One of the WPIAL Swimming Championships on Thursday, the Riverside boys’ swimming again placed well on Day Two of the Class-AA WPIAL championship meet. Senior Josiah Shaffer posted a 2.17 second time drop in the 100 breast, securing a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:01:64. Sophomore Alexander Roth, juniors Graham Kralic and Hayden Panek, and freshman Sam Kline also secured a fourth-place finish in the 400-yard free relay after posting a notable 6.18-second drop for a 3:20:57 finish.
