Ellwood City Man Sustains Injuries In Motorcycle Accident

PA State Police in New Castle responded to a motorcycle accident in Wayne Township on Sunday, June 6th on Wampum Road around 11:30 p.m. The officers responded to an accident in which a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle had struck a guardrail on the right side of the roadway on Wampum Road. VIDEO: Ongoing Investigation Into An Early Morning Shooting On Mercer Road

According to multiple news reports, a man was shot early Tuesday morning in Ellwood City, Lawrence County. The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. on Mercer Road, near Cutoff Street. Police had Mercer Road blocked off with crime scene tape and at least a dozen evidence markers were placed on the road. An SUV that had its windows shot out was towed away. A 72-year-old Ellwood City man sent an unidentified individual money online over a period of 11-12 months. According to the report, the currency sent to the suspect via Bitcoin is valued at $300,000.00. Police are continuing to investigate. The Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office recently announced the execution of two search warrants by the Special Investigations Unit that took place in New Castle according to its social media page. Youth Soccer Association Treasurer Admits Stealing $100,000 for Personal Expenses

PITTSBURGH, PA – A Beaver County resident pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of wire fraud, Acting United States Attorney Stephen R. Kaufman announced today. Jenessa Tolejko, 35, of Beaver, PA 15009 pleaded guilty to one count before United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab. INDECENT EXPOSURE: Michael Hill, 18, of Wampum, is charged with indecent exposure on February 14th in Wayne Township. According to a criminal complaint, officers responded to a call in Wampum from a juvenuile saying that the man she and her friend were hanging out wih exposed himself. The juvenile who made the call related she left the scene due to the inappropriate and unwanted behavior of Hill. THEFT/CRIME BY DECEPTION: Ryan Hayes, 24, Sharon, is charged with Theft and Crime By Deception after an incident on March 25th in Wayne Township. According to a PA State Police report, a 43-year-old victim, of Ellwood City, reported a theft by Hayes whereas the victim sent Hayes $500.00 for a shed deposit and was going to give the rest of the money when picking up the shed. VIDEO: Local Man Seriously Injured After Heavy Machinery Accident

According to a Pittsburgh news source, a Lawrence County man was seriously injured when he fell off some heavy machinery and was subsequently run over by it. According to a fire chief, a man was operating a brush hog and had fallen off. He was working in his yard on Dutch Run Road near Ellwood City, fell off and a neighbor had heard him yelling for help.
