A Beaver County Man Is Among Five Charged For Sexual Abuse of Children Across Pennsylvania

A 74-year-old Beaver County man and a 51-year-old Butler County man are among five men charged for the sexual assault and exploitation of children. Acting Attorney General Michelle Henry announced on Tuesday the filing of criminal charges against Raymond Shultz, Beaver County; Kevin Isovitsch, Butler County; Abimael Valentin-Matos, Lancaster County; Norman Aviles, Lancaster County; and Marc Brown, Allegheny County, for the sexual assault and exploitation of children. In each case, all of the defendants and their victims were members of Jehovah’s Witness congregations. Northeast Candle Company Moving Retail Location

According to its social media post, The Northeast Candle Company is moving to a new storefront on 5th Street. The Northeast Candle Co. retail store will now be located at 233 Fifth Street, next to Shop at the Underpass. The post advises that more details are to come as they proceed with moving and re-opening retail sales. Riverside Auxilary Band Hosting 2nd Annual Spin Camp

The Riverside Auxiliary Band is hosting its 2nd Annual Spin Camp. Students will be taught baton, flag, and dance basics. Students will use these skills to learn a routine that will be performed for parents at the end of the camp. At the end of camp, students in grades 6-11 will have the opportunity to sign up for the 2023-24 Marching Band season as part of the Auxillary Band. Wampum American Legion Offering An All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast

The Wampum American Legion is starting it’s all-you-can-eat Breakfast event again on Saturday, February 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event is scheduled to take place at the Legion club located at 436 Beaver Street, Wampum, PA 16157. The menu features scrambled eggs, home fries, french toast, sausage, biscuits & gravy, bacon, toast, coffee, tea and orange juice. THEFT BY DECEPTION: On January 31st at approximately 3:17 p.m., PA State Police investigated a report of fraudulent bank activity. The 63-year-old female victim lives in Wayne Township, Lawrence County and claims that two bank transactions totaling $6,000.00 were made on her bank account with her permission.
