3rd Annual Winter Wine & Brew Fest Announced

Ellwood City Revitalization presents the 3rd Annual Winter Wine and Brew Fest on Saturday, January 26, 2019. The event, scheduled from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, will take place at the Ellwood City Sons of Italy. Admission includes beer and wine tasting, entertainment, DJ, raffles, catered food, and a Chinese Auction.  Tickets are $25.00/person in advance and $30.00/person at the door. Lincoln High School Alumni Benefit Concert

On Saturday, May 11, the Lincoln High School Concert Choir will be celebrating their 75th Anniversary. In honor of this milestone, the choir will be putting on an Alumni Benefit Concert. Any and all proceeds will benefit the Cindy Pertile Scholarship Fund. This fun will provide two types of scholarships annually. One scholarship goes towards the annual Concert Choir trip and the other goes towards a graduating member of the LHS music department to help further their education after high school. Ellwood City Historical Society To Host Guest Speaker

The Ellwood City Area Historical Society will open their first meeting of the year on Monday, January 14 at 7:00 pm. Newly elected officers and board members, Andy Kindle, Dana Baker and Alexis Bodenschantz will be installed. The guest speaker for the evening will be Jonica Walters of Neshannock Township. Monday Night Cornhole League Set To Begin in January

The Western Pennsylvania Cornhole Association will begin a Monday night Cornhole League. For the next 10 weeks, players of all skill levels are invited to the Chewton Polish Club where at 7:00 p.m. players will participate in a blind draw for their partners and proceed to participate in the tournament. Due to the tournament being held in a club, participants must be 21 and older. The pairs will then compete in a double elimination tournament with standard rules and be guaranteed a minimum of two matches each week of the season.  At the end of the tournament, each team partner will be…


Relay For Life Hosting “Super Bingo”

There will be a “Super Bingo” held at the Moose on Sunday, January 20th to raise money for the Ellwood City Relay For Life. BC3 At Lawrence Crossing To Host Program Orientation

(New Castle, PA) Butler County Community College has announced that BC3 at Lawrence Crossing will host an orientation on January 8 for students seeking to enroll in a free, month long basic health care employment skills certificate program. This program will begin February 12 and will train participants for entry-level positions. The 82-hour noncredit program will also be held at BC3 @ Lawrence Crossing, 2849 W.
