Activities taking place this week include: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 10:00 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. Pre-Sell Ticket Information For Ellwood/Riverside Game

Ellwood City students will have the chance to purchase their student tickets, and adult tickets, during school from now until Friday at noon. The big rivalry game between Ellwood City and Riverside will be at Lincoln High School on Friday, February 8 with the varsity game tip off at 7:30 p.m. The game will be Ellwood’s senior night as well as a candlelight vigil for Kait Francis. Tickets will be on sale for $2.00 for a student ticket and $5.00 for adult tickets. It is important to note that there will not be student tickets sold at the doors on Friday….

Yellow Ribbon Girls To Host Spagehetti Dinner

The Yellow Ribbon Girls will be hosting a spaghetti dinner as a fundraiser to help with the monthly shipping costs on the care packages they mail around the world to our deployed troops “Each month between 80- 90 care packages are shipped.  Currently, we are shipping to 13 countries,” said Yellow Ribbon Representative, Bonnie Phillippi. Two Schools, One City, One Fundraising Cause

In light of our community’s tragic loss, the two rival schools have decided to come together and show support for the grieving family and friends of the late Kaitlyn “Kait” Francis. Showing their support, four students have stepped up and took on the task of making t-shirts to sell to students in a fundraising effort for the Francis family. Applicants Sought For Ellwood City Wolves Club Scholarship

The Ellwood City Wolves Club will once again offer scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in the Ellwood City Area School District and Riverside Beaver County School District who plan to attend a four-year college, community college, trade or technical school following graduation. Applications for the Wolves Club Scholarship are available from the Guidance Offices at Lincoln High School and Riverside High School. PHOTOS: 3rd Annual Winter Wine & Brew Fest

The Ellwood City Revitalization held its 3rd Annual Winter Wine and Brew Fest on Saturday afternoon at the Ellwood City Sons of Italy Club.  The event featured beer and wine tasting, entertainment, DJ, raffles, catered food, and a Chinese Auction. Over 25 baskets donated by local businesses along with two gun raffles, sponsored by Duke’s Sport Shop, and two 50/50 raffles! Participation benefits the Ellwood City Revitalization projects.
