BC3 Plans For A Flexible Fall Semester

Lincoln High School Class of ’68 Announcement

Lincoln High Schools graduating class of ’68 had originally made plans to hold an event to celebrate the classes 70th birthday. This birthday party had been scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2020 has been cancelled for this year and rescheduled for 2021. Many of the classmates had expressed their concerns about hosting an event of such large attendee numbers during the COVID-19 pandemic.    


Ellwood City Playground Program To Resume

Despite a temporary setback last week with a temporary suspension, the Ellwood City Playground Program is resuming. According to information made available by borough, the Playground Program at Ewing Park will resume Tuesday June 23rd at the regularly scheduled times. The program was temporarily suspended after it was notified an individual that participates in the program on a daily basis was exposed to an individual who has tested positive for Covid-19. Wampum Man Among Twelve Indicted For Drug Trafficking

According to a press release made available by United States Attorney Scott W. Brady on Thursday, 47-year-old Michael Turner, of Wampum, PA, is among twelve defendants who have been charged with drug trafficking following a months-long wiretap investigation into narcotics trafficking in the City of Pittsburgh and greater Allegheny County region. This Indictment is related to a larger investigation into the narcotics trafficking activities of the “11 Hunnit” neighborhood street gang operating in the Hill District neighborhood of Pittsburgh and beyond. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CALL On Sunday, June 7, at approximately 3:15 p.m, police were responding to a PFA Violation. Starting in July, the Franklin Township Building will be reopening to the public according to information made available by the township on Thursday. Playground Program Temporarily Suspended

According to a social media post by the organizers Wednesday night, the Ellwood City Playground Program has been temporarily suspended. According to the post: “Effective Thursday June 18th, the Playground Program at Ewing Park is temporarily suspended.
