Pine Valley’s annual motorcycle Ride for Hope on September 12th is just 5 weeks away. This year, a meal will be served and will be accompanied by musical entertainment provided by the classic rock band Street Level. All proceeds benefit Pine Valley Camp, now in it’s 25th year of serving at-risk youth. The event will go on rain or shine, and in case of rain a shorter bike route will be taken. The cost is $30 for drivers, $15 for passengers, and $15 for walk-in diners. Drivers get a shirt and both passengers and drivers get a meal as well….

Mayor Anthony J. Court presented a proclamation to the Allegheny Aquatic Alliance on July 29th, 2020. This outstanding group established in 2009 has been known for “Connoquenessing Creek Clean Up,”-Removing over  500,000 pounds of trash and over 5,500 tires from the creek. In 2018, Mayor Court presented the group with a plaque that marked “I couldn’t be more proud of a group of individuals! The time and effort put forth by Allegheny Aquatic Alliance is astonishing.
