Arise Lawrence County is reaching out to the community for support in creating Easter baskets for children whose families have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes. Ellwood City Names Sean McConahy As Next Football Head Coach

The Wolverines have their new head coach for its football program. Ellwood City hired Sean McConahy as its next head high school football coach during a special board meeting on Friday, February 20th. McConahy, a current science teacher at LHS, brings experience in the district, passion for football and conditioning, and coaching experience at one of more recent success stories in District 10 (Wilmington coaching staff). Braiden McClure Earns Runner-Up Mark In District AA Sectionals

Sophomore Braiden McClure finished runner-up in the 107-pound weight division at the District 7 AA Sectionals last weekend at Keystone Oaks High School. McClure opened up with a major decision victory before bowing out the in the finals to Angelo Boni of Central Valley. McClure now holds an individual match record of 22-7 this season.
