Pitt Race To Close At End Of 2025

According to news sources and a social media post, Pittsburgh International Race Complex will be sold to a developer. The track will honor its remaining 2025 dates before its closing. Located in Wampum, less than 10 miles outside of Ellwood City, Pitt Race has served racers since the early 2002, when it opened as BeaveRun Motorsports Complex. Keller, Rozanski Wrap Up Two-Day Class 2A Golf Championships

Jordan Keller finished with a 2-day score of 169 (86-83, +26) to earn a 26th place finish in the 2025 WPIAL Class 2A Boys’ Individual Championships. The two day event wrapped up Tuesday at Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray, PA after opening at the Hill Crest Country Club in Lower Burrell last week. 15th Annual Ellwood City Oktoberfest Is Saturday

The 15th Annual Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday October 4th from 12pm to 5pm in Ewing Park Rain or Shine. $30 presell or $35 at the door. Conceived by Wolves Club member Matt Walley in 2010, the Annual Ellwood City Oktoberfest turns 15 years old this year. It started out as a fundraiser for the club with games, local brewers, craft beers and food. 2025 Riverside Homecoming Court Announced

The Riverside High School has announced its 2025 Homecoming Court. Homecoming Game is Friday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Pregame starts at 6:30 p.m. Crowning of the 2025 Homecoming Queen will take place during halftime of the Panthers football game against the Freedom Area Bulldogs. The Riverside Homecoming dance is Saturday, October 4th at 7:30 p.m. at the Riverside High School. There is no homecoming king. The 2025 Ellwood City Fall Fest took place on a warm September Saturday in downtown Ellwood City. The annual spectacle features a car cruise and many street vendors. As many as 600 cars adorned Lawrence Avenue and with live music, 50 plus vendors, food trucks, kids games and crafts, and a petting zoo, the fall festival was another autumn success.
