Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of May 4th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, MAY 4

  • 10:30 a.m. – “Music and Movement,” children can sing, play instruments and dance.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, MAY 5

  • 10:30 a.m. – “Adult Special Needs Hangout,” come and hang out and an option to do a planned activity.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 6

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen After School Club,” come and socialize and do activities while eating a snack.

THURSDAY, MAY 7

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 6:00 p.m. – “Friends of the Library Meeting”

FRIDAY, MAY 8

  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own supplies or use ours.
  • 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” work on your own individual projects while socializing with other knitters.
  • 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – “Family Game Night,” Come and play games with other area families

SAVE THE DATE:

Saturday May 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Touch – A – Truck will be in the Library block. Come and see different kinds of vehicles and visit some local food trucks.

Friday May 29 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., – Adult Magic Show in the program room at the Library. Tickets are $20 each and sold at the Library. Light refreshments will be provided.
