FORE! The Tee Box Indoor Golf and Sports Lounge in Ellwood City is now officially open for business after hosting their grand opening event this past Friday. Word Alive Church Hosting Vacation Bible School

All are welcome in this place. Word Alive Church will be hosting Mystery Island Vacation Bible School that began on Monday July 12 and it will run until July 16th. The Bible School will take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and is open to children in grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Children will partake in a daily Bible lesson, fun crafts, exciting games, and snacks. The Bible School will be taking place at Word Alive Church. The Church is located at 124 Scenic Hill Blvd.    


New Recording Studio Now Open In Ellwood City

Music will reverberate in Ellwood City thanks to October Recording Studio. The studio has just opened its doors and consultations are now available to artists and bands of all musical levels. POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

THEFT:  PSP Beaver responded to a report on June 28th in the Homewood Boro in Beaver. Officers responded to a report of tools being stolen from a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado truck, which was parked in the rear parking lot in the Super 8 Motel. It was discovered that an unknown suspect had stolen a gutter bender, nail gun, air compressor and a jig saw from the truck bed and tool rack of the Silverado. $201,600 Green Light-Go Grant Awarded to New Castle

New Castle will receive a $201,600 state grant to improve traffic safety under Pennsylvania’s “Green Light-Go” program, according to Senator Elder Vogel. The city was awarded the grant to modernize the Butler/Taylor traffic signal. New Castle was among 50 municipalities statewide sharing more than $15.6 million in the current round of Green Light-Go funding. The program provides funding to install light-emitting diode (LED) technology, perform regional operations such as retiming, develop special event plans and monitor traffic signals, as well as upgrade traffic signals to the latest technologies.


Reed’s Services Presents 1st Annual “Dog Days Of Summer” Event

Come out and enjoy the dog days of summer! Reed’s Pet & Livestock Feed & Supplies will be hosting its first annual “Dog Days Of Summer” fundraising event next month. Riverside Youth Football To Host Parents Night Out

A Parents Night Out will be held on July 31st at Mike’s Main Street to help benefit The Riverside Youth Football Organization. The event will start at 7:00 p.m. The cost of admission to the event is $2.00. There will be a live DJ, $2.00 jello shots, 50/50 raffles, a Last Man Standing Game, and $3.00 green Riverside shot. Mayor Anthony J. Court announced the 4th winner of the 2021 Beautification Award. The winners are John and Kelly Katsadas. “Congratulations on a job well done.
