Louis Andrew “Lou” Conte Sr., 90, passed away peacefully on Monday June 13, 2022, at Northview Senior Living in Ellwood City. He was born on September 2, 1931, to the late Emil “Shorty” and Mary (Szabo) Conte and grew up in Ellport. Lou was a graduate of Lincoln high school where he played football and excelled in track and field. He was a Korean war veteran, proudly serving in the U.S. Army. On October 19, 1952, he married Sana (Sally) Ottaviani at the BVM Church in Elwood City. Together they raised five boys and were proud grandparents to four granddaughters….
