Born August 9th, 1932 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Willa (Daufen) Varner. A 1950 graduate of Lincoln High School. She first worked at Margaret’s Restaurant. She retired in 2003 after being employed as a care giver at Passavant Health Center for 38 years. A 33-year member of the Teamsters Local 529, she served as a union steward for 12 years. Dan C. Coulter, 57, of Ellwood City, passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 19th following a five-year battle with colon cancer. Born in Ellwood City on July 14, 1960 Dan is the son of James Coulter of Boyers, PA and the late Beverly Grossman Coulter.  Dan married the former Paula Osborne on July 18, 1998.  A 1977 graduate of Lincoln High School, Dan retired after 32 years from the Heavy and Highway Union Local 2274 where he built bridges.  He enjoyed being outdoors where he usually was in his free time.  Dan also loved to hunt and fish. Judith Ann Pistachio, 70 of New Castle passed away at the Beaver Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 8:07 AM. Frederick J. Suhre, 79, of Perry Township, passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 8, 2018.
